Our History 

A two-story brick building with blue windows and a sign that reads "New Hope Church" and another sign that says "Young at Art Co". The building is on a sidewalk with small trees and benches outside, next to a curved street.

New Hope Church started in January 2020. It was a challenging year, especially when everything shut down in March. We continued to hold services in the basement of Zach and Rochel's home. Our goal has always been to bring hope to the community. This experience has motivated us, guided by God, to fulfill the Great Commission by making disciples and fostering a healthy community focused on relationships with God and one another.

We know that not every person can make it every week. We offer a livestream on Facebook and Youtube. If it is your first time, we welcome you to check out our livestream to see how as a community we have church.

New Hope Church in Detroit Lakes, MN serves to reach the community with the hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ.  We know that Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith and we must seek after Him.  We believe at New Hope Church in Detroit Lakes that hope can be restored in all people no matter what has happened.  We believe that we can make a difference right here at this church in Detroit Lakes.  Will you make a difference in someone else's life?
